I may take a while to respond, I may not write back to every comment I get, but rest assured that I read every one of them!

Questions to Amber are currently closed, sorry for the inconvenience

And if you've made any fan-art or sumtin like that - don't hesitate to show me. You know it's quite a lovely feeling to know you have fans and that they like you enough to devote some time and effort to you ^^

I love this stuff. Amber's No Brainers...I wanna do stuff just like you do; but I'm not there yet in skill level.

I do want to ask a question though. How long do Those comics take you by stage? Like sketching, inking, and coloring? I have all your comics now as reference material (hope that's ok), but I wonder how long your work actually takes?

Hello there,
Inspiration is very important.
~ 3 and a half years ago I was also very heavily inspired by the works of :iconjollyjack:
Back then my art was far from where I am now, but I still did it. So don't worry about your skill level.

Now regarding your question- it really depends. Each thing you add into the comic requires time ( hence why I often don't do backgrounds... backgrounds are evil ) and since you're drawing it more than once, it is multiplied.
Usually I am able to make a page in a day ( sometimes two or so if I give less time daily to it ), but that does take multiple hours of work. Sketching is often the quickest part... unless you aren't too sure what or how things are going to be happening in the panels... then you can easily sit at the sketch phase for a couple hours if not longer.
Then with the sketching done the lineart is the second-least time-consuming part for me. Then comes the colouring and the time you have to spend on that is very dependent on what your finished work has to look like. Flat colours are almost no work at all, but usually it doesn't look all that well. Heh, pros and cons for every choice really.

And that's fine, it's good to have reference material ( though I would suggest finding more different comics as reference - you may find something you REALLY like that you just can't find in my works. ).

Good luck on your comics ^^

I have a few others...ok I have about 3000-5000 pages of references, but what makes it all special, and what makes yours extra special to me is my desire to draw anthropomorphic foxes. Out of the thousands of pages I have your fox, Amber, is my favorite to date.

I appreciate your reply and wish you continued success in your work.
